The groundwork has been laid for the New Jersey Barn Quilt Project. The first 'official' quilt has been mounted at the New Jersey Museum of Agriculture and several more "quilts" are in final stages of preparation to be mounted.
The NJ Steering Committee is actively soliciting volunteers to coordinate the Barn Quilt project at a local level. We invite anyone interested in this project to contact us at info@njbarnquilts.com.

We are looking for volunteers to form local committees that represent a region or county area. Responsibilities of the local committee would include:
> Follow-up on referrals/contacts from the Steering committee
> Contacting local farmers and agribusinesses to participate in the project
> Coordinating the construction and mounting of the barn quilts
> Coordinating publicity of quilt dedications and/or helping publicize events
> Communicating with Steering committee on local activities
> Other duties and responsibilities as needed
